Tiffany & Co. Designed the Interior of the Eiffel Tower

When the Eiffel Tower was completed for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris, Gustave Eiffel commissioned the American luxury company Tiffany & Co. to design the interior of his private apartment on the third floor. The space featured elegant furnishings, Persian rugs, and even had electricity - a luxury at the time. Eiffel used this apartment to entertain distinguished guests like Thomas Edison. Today, the apartment has been restored and can be viewed by the public.
