Footprints on the Moon Will Last for Millions of Years

The Moon lacks the erosional processes that erase features on Earth. There's no wind to blow away the lunar dust, no water to wash prints away, and no significant geological activity. The only things that could disturb the footprints are direct meteorite impacts or the slow 'gardening' effect of micrometeorites over vast timescales. So, the historic footprints left by the Apollo missions will likely be preserved for an incredibly long time.
