T-Rex Could Not Clap Its Hands
Despite having arms, T-Rex could not clap because its arms couldn't move inward toward each other due to their bone structure.
About this fact
The mighty T-Rex had a surprising limitation: it could not clap its hands. While its arms were stronger than previously thought (able to lift about 400 pounds each), the bone structure of its shoulders and arms prevented the inward rotation needed for clapping. The arms could only move up and down and slightly outward, but not inward toward each other. This same limitation meant T-Rex couldn't do push-ups, give hugs, or perform many other actions that require bringing the arms together. The arms were likely used for grasping prey or mates, but their range of motion was quite limited compared to modern animals.
